The front is decorated with Christ on the cross,
surmounted by the titulus bearing the inscription
INRI “Iesvs Nazarenvs Rex Ivdaeorum”,
as well as four evangelists with their
respective symbols: the eagle for John, the
lion for Mark, the angel for Matthew, and the
bull for Luke.
The reverse is centered on an engraved motif of
God the Father contemplating the dove of
the Holy Spirit, surrounded by foliage motifs,
as well as the portraits of the witnesses of the
Crucifixion, including Mary, John, Mary-
Madeleine, and a winged character evoking
the divine presence.
