Reinterpreting the high-relief technique, Richard Orlinski plays on the opposition between the flat surface of the background and the reliefs of the Kong's mouth.
The chrome resin reflects light on the flat and rounded parts, while the hollows of the eyes and mouth attract the darkness, thus accentuating the intensity of the mute cry of this exceptional gorilla.
