The presentation of this work was made
by Jean-François Apesteguy, who
introduces into this work the famous game
of 54 playing cards designed by Salvador
Dali for Puiforcat and printed by Draeger.
This artistic creation was specially
developed for the World Bridge Festival
in Deauville in 1967 and was intended to be
exhibited in the window of the Galerie de JF
Apesteguy, located at 8 Rue du Casino in
Deauville, France.
This exhibition highlighted the game of
cards created by Salvador Dali for the
Puiforcat house during its launch.
It should also be noted that another work
similar, with red cards, was
offered to the French singer France
Gall. This confirmation was issued by
the expert Mr. Fabien Lecoeuvre, who
indicated that France Gall had spoken to him about
this painting (presented here) at her home, Rue de
Monceau in Paris.
